WHITE/RED PINE early summer

This hike will be done numerous times by me this summer because its 1 mile away from work, I went to see how much snow was on the trail on June 13th. Still a lot so getting to the lakes is a month or so away. However the first 4 pictures are taken to compare to how this trail looked in January. Just shows how much snow we get.
This sign is taller then me, and you can see, should have been buried
but someone cleared the snow away so you can read the sign.

the bridge in June and January. Again about 4-5 ft of snow in it so
you had to walk on top of it


Here is the avalanche chute. You would never guess in the winter that your walking on top of 100's of fallen trees. The same mtn in the distance in both pictures shows Im in the same area with these pictures


And here you are looking down the chute. Again match up the leaning
tree on the right hand side to compare.
Youd never know what was under all that snow
