RED PINE LAKE

Red Pine Lake sits at 9,620 ft and took me 2 hrs to reach. It has a sister lake 400 ft higher but I was too tired to climb straight uphill. The color of the lake was unreal and I cant wait to hike White Pine soon.

Theres my road I drive to work everyday

hanging my feet over the edge of the creek

snow balls on July 5th?

these signs always mean your almost to the lake

the peaks are shaped funny from when this was a glacier
This is the clearest creek Ive ever seen hands down(video at bottom).
It runs from Upper Red Pine lake, into its twin where I am.
It then continues on the west side of the lake down to meet drain into Little Cottonwood Creek

loved this tree all by itself in the middle of the rock debris field

the tops of the moutain are cool looking
k. So this is how you get down a snow bank.
Put your feet in and slide down like ski's or rollar skates.
I must've done 15 of these and only fell 3 times! It was tons of fun.
Nothing like playing in the snow on July 5th!
