CECRET LAKE

Cecret Lake is located in the Albion Basin just 5 minutes up the canyon from work in the town of Alta. Cecret Lake got its spelling from when miners ruled Little Cottonwood Canyon, and due to their lack of education, it was mispelled.
It only is a 20 minute hike to the glacial lake that sits at 9,200 ft and has wildflowers all along the trail. The trail actually is part of our sister resort, Alta Ski Resort, so you hike under lifts and on ski trails. I walked through a patch of snow, making it official that I have walked through snow in every month of the year. Cool stuff.
