Trinity River
One of our old in college spots, under the 299 overpass at the Trinity/Humboldt County line. Thats what the sign says on top of the bridge "Humboldt County"

this little guy hopped onto this twig...
..he lives a pretty good life it seems. Also didn't mind me getting close for pictures

looking up river
crystal clear water

River far below me
2 forks meeting up
crazy rapids

River down below

I river rafted down this twice!!
Trinity River

Whiskeytown Lake along the 299
Trinidad Beach. The crows make sure you follow the rules
My camera was taking pictures in a setting I didn't even mean to do. However they came out amazing! Look like they were taken at nighttime

This one turned out cool
Back to the normal setting....

Beanie on the beach, only in Humboldt
Hiking the head
Storm moving in

Trinidad Bay

"The Bottoms"
hope you can run fast if the sirens go off!
Mad River Beach in Arcata, CA

Mad River
Lots of cows in the bottoms
Another "Tsunami Hazard Zone" sign with the Hammond Trail Bridge. This trail connects Arcata to McKinleyville and since I will be biking everywhere next year...I will be on that bridge almost everyday! Cant complain of the views
this was amazing. 2 separate flocks of geese met up in the sky and flew right over me

Looking straight up. This was a dangerous shot, but thankfully nothing rained from the sky onto my face
