SILVER LAKE, BRIGHTON

Fall is here in Utah!
I attempted to do a hike at Willow Heights in Big Cottonwood Canyon, however couldn't find it. I kept driving and it dumped me into Brighton Ski Resort so I decided to walk around the Silver Lake which is right by the parking lot. You walk across a boardwalk to and from the lake due to the fragile wetlands in the area. I walked a little into Solitude Ski Resort as well, and plan on going up there soon to hike to 2 more lakes.
Silver Lake sits at 8,760 ft.

ANTELOPE ISLAND (FRARY PEAK 6,596 FT)

I decided to hike the highest point on Antelope Island today. Not only was the view amazing but all the wildlife I got to see today was amazing. I saw a ton of buffalo, antelope, lizards, but unfortunatly we never saw the big horn mountain sheep that live on the islands mountain range. Enjoy the pictures, I even got one of me petting a buffalo!!!!! Cool huh!!? Make sure you watch the video at the bottom with the buffalo and antelope

I spotted a huge Buffalo herd down below...we' ll see them later
